I met Frank Frederico a number of years ago at a plein air paint-out in New Mexico with a few other people (including Bill Creevy and my friend Stephanie Birdsall). At the most recent IAPS (International Association of Pastel Societies) convention I asked Frank to talk about his statement, “Colours are the children of light.”
